Expansion by acquisition for south coast firm

The Southernbrook Group, an independent letting agency on the south coast, has acquired David Seymour, an agency established over 50 years ago and based in Gosport, Hampshire.

Ex-ARMA chief joins Fixflo as Industry Advisor

Maintenance management software provider Fixflo has announced the appointment of Nigel Glen as its latest Industry Advisor. This appointment follows those of Nygel Scourfield and Kevin Watson. Scourfield is the Chief Executive Officer at My Future Living, a retirement rentals company and Watson is the Operations & Commercial Director at PLATFORM_, a build to rent operator.

Glen will work with the Fixflo team to develop technologies that assist block management companies in their property management operations. His work will advise the Fixflo product development team on creating solutions that help block managers meet the changing and growing needs of leaseholders and occupiers, with a particular focus on compliance standards, customer experience and potential requirements from upcoming legislation.

Glen now holds the position of Executive Chair at The Property Institute (TPI), the new body formed by the recent merger of member associations, The Association of Residential Managing Agents Limited (ARMA) and The Institute of Residential Property Management Limited (IRPM). Before the merger, he acted as the CEO of ARMA for six years as well as founding and running his own property management business for seven years.

 

Agency franchisees begin trading

Anthony Martin Franchising has announced that their first three franchisees are now trading in the South East.

Lee Ingram has over 20 years’ experience, having worked for Robinson and Jackson and Hunters. He has launched in Swanscombe.

Mark Jury previously worked for Haart and Livermores and now has taken on Meopham and New Ash Green.

Holly Siegenberg and Amanda Symmons teamed up, having known each other through working at Robinson Jackson, and now run Sutton at Hone.
