Henry Adams appoints director at Storrington lettings

Henry Adams has promoted James Riley to the position of director of Henry Adams lettings at Storrington.

Riley initially joined Henry Adams in 2015 to start up the lettings operation of their busy Bognor & Aldwick office. In 2019, he took up the role of lettings manager at Henry Adams Storrington.

Riley said, “The senior management at Henry Adams has always been very supportive of new initiatives and ideas to grow the business but what’s really made the difference here is my team. Alex and Emma are both brilliant. Without their support and commitment, we wouldn’t be in the strong position that we are today.

“We cover a broad spectrum of property types and sizes. We’re always here to offer advice for landlords looking to let their property, whether it’s the first time they’ve invested in buy-to-let or they have a portfolio that requires professional management. I’m very proud to receive this promotion and together, we look forward to working with even more landlords and tenants in and around the Storrington area.”

Ian Wiggett, CEO of Henry Adams, added: “James has inspired a young team to create a great service here in Storrington, from the initial enquiry to our in-house property management team. Over the years he’s been with Henry Adams, James has developed in his role and this promotion is very well deserved. I’m sure James will take the department on to even greater heights.”

Savills has appointed a new head of sale in its Maida Vale office in west London.

George Baskerville joins the company having started his property career in 2005. Initially a negotiator with Foxtons in Notting Hill, he spent three years at the firm and saw his role expand during this time to sell properties at all levels of the market in the prime central London neighbourhood.

After taking a short break from the property industry, Baskerville joined Marsh & Parsons in 2011 as a sales negotiator in its North Kensington office.

Working his way up through the business, Baskerville went on to open the firm’s Askew Road Office in west London, covering the Askew Village, Wendell Park and Ravenscourt Park sales markets.

Following 18 months running the sales department, he was appointed as sales manager of Marsh & Parsons North Kensington office in 2015 before his most recent role as sales manager of the firm’s Holland Park office.

Baskerville’s new position at Savills will see him lead the sales team in the Maida Vale & Little Venice office.

Claire Reynolds, co-head of prime central London, said: “We are thrilled to have appointed George to head up our Maida Vale office. He has a great deal of experience as well as a strong local knowledge. George will be a highly valuable addition to the region and I am sure that under his leadership, he will further strengthen our thriving Maida Vale sales business.
