New director appointed at Manchester-based Xenia Lettings

Daryl Tomlinson

Xenia Lettings has announced the appointment of Daryl Tomlinson as its new director.

Tomlinson has more than a decade of experience in the property industry. He first entered the industry in 2007 as a successful candidate for the Reeds Rains graduate management programme. Since then, he has held various senior management positions in the industry, including head of Lettings at Karl Tatler.

Tomlinson said: “With some exciting USPs in the pipeline, I am looking forward to extending our great service to more residential landlords and investors and positioning Xenia Lettings as one of the most trusted and respected names within the Lettings Industry.”

Paul Wright, MD at Xenia, commented: “We are delighted with Daryl’s appointment, which hails the start of an exciting new era for Xenia Lettings. In recent years, we have been perfecting our residential lettings operations with a focus on Landlord services and satisfaction rates.

“Meanwhile, our successful student brand (Xenia Students) has been selling out properties annually, with ever-increasing rents and a waiting list of tenants in eight UK cities. Daryl will be launching our residential lettings services to the wider market in the coming months to allow Landlords and Tenants to capitalise on our established position within these markets.”

Stanhope Director Henry Williams to retire after 25 years

Henry Williams

After 25 years at Stanhope, Henry Williams has confirmed that he will be retiring from the business at the end of April.

During his time as a director at Stanhope, Williams has worked on a wide range of projects. His professional career goes back more than 40 years.

Williams said: “It’s been wonderful to have had the opportunity to share knowledge and challenge the norm with so many brilliant people – we all had the same objective of delivering Best in Class which we did in abundance. I’d also like to think we enjoyed a great deal of fun on the journey – I know I did!

“Over the years I’ve had some great mentors and I would also like to thank them for their generous help and guidance and I hope that I, in turn, have been able to pass a lot of that knowledge on to my colleagues who will be taking the business forward. I should also mention our development partners who gave their support on some of those challenging financial decisions!”

David Camp, CEO of Stanhope, said:  “Henry will be a hard act to follow.  He has been critical to the success of Stanhope for a quarter of a century. Henry has been a leader and mentor of the business and a loyal, supportive and congenial colleague to me and many others over the years.
