Knight Frank announces new head of sales in Dulwich office

Camilla Heywood

Knight Frank has appointed Camilla Heywood as a partner and head of sales in the firm’s Dulwich office.

Heywood, who specialises in the South London market, previously spent ten years at Savills, where she was an associate director in the Battersea Park office.

In her new role at Knight Frank, Heywood will be responsible for driving Knight Frank’s market share, managing the team and actively building upon the strong relationships that Christopher Burton and the team have developed.

Burton has been appointed head of sales in the firm’s Wimbledon office, and will continue to work closely with the firm’s local office network and prime team in South London.

Camilla comments, “I am very pleased to be joining Knight Frank to lead its well-established and thriving team in Dulwich. The office has such a dominant market share in the area and I look forward to building on their success”.

Luke Ellwood, Regional Partner at Knight Frank commented, “It’s fantastic to have Camilla joining our powerhouse team in Dulwich as Department Head. With her significant experience and excellent reputation, she will be a wonderful asset to the team.

“The Dulwich market is buoyant, particularly in the price range up to £3m, though a lack of quality stock persists. With buyer demand at such a high level, almost half of the sales the team complete are off market, which is testament to the strength of their connections in the local community.”

Fine & Country’s Luke Hammond to focus on the market in Mayfair

Luke Hammond

With over a 30 years of experience in the property industry, including three years in the Fine & Country network and 13 years in central London, estate agent Luke Hammond has now set his sights on growing market share in the prime central London area of Mayfair.

Having previously worked as an agent in London, Hammond has most recently operated in the Lincoln market, where he progressed to branch partner at Fine & Country Lincoln, but has decided that now is the right time to return to the capital.

Hammond commented: “Having built valuable relationships and compiled a black book of contacts in central London over the past 30 years, focussing my efforts in Mayfair felt like a natural progression for me. I can tell that operating in this lucrative and attractive part of the capital is going to be an exciting time in my career.”

“The off-market properties I have access to have a market value climbing into the billions,” he added. “It truly is an extraordinary space to work in.”

Nicky Stevenson, MD at Fine & Country, said, “We were delighted when Luke expressed a desire to operate in the Mayfair area, his prior experience with Fine & Country in Lincoln makes him the ideal candidate to grow the brand into previously unexplored territories in the capital.

“With his extensive experience, I have no doubt that he will continue to successfully build his connections in the upper quartile of the London market.”
