Estate agent in new Netflix reality show seeks to capitalise on TV exposure

Alex Bourne

A member of the cast of Buying London, a new Netflix reality series following London’s luxury property market, is seeking to maximise the exposure that the show will offer him and his estate agency, by appointing a new PR firm to promote the firm.

Estate agent Alex Bourne, who stars in the new TV show, has appointed creative collective Stakked to deliver an integrated PR and social campaign to promote the show and his company, London House.

Buying London, which launches on our TV screens this week, follows a cast of estate agents as they take on London’s luxury property market.

Stakked’s creative PR arm, Munch, will deliver a campaign for London House, one of Buying London’s estate agencies, along with Bourne.

Meanwhile, Stakked’s social media division, Flabbergast, has been hired to refresh the company’s social media strategy, social media management and creative content.

Bourne said: “The team at Stakked understood our brand, mission and how we do business completely, delivering an integrated strategy that will help us to make the most of this fantastic opportunity and demonstrate to the UK our unique and discrete approach to the multimillion-pound property industry.

“Stakked’s team takes a personal approach, with an attention to detail and a clear focus on their clients’ commercial objectives that aligns so much with our own business values. We knew they were the right partner for us, and we can’t wait to get started.”

Lizzie Earl, chief executive of Stakked, commented: “Myself and our creative teams at Munch and Flabbergast are delighted to be working with London House to maximise this broadcast opportunity through fame-building PR and social media campaigns, powered by the industry’s most cutting-edge AI tools.

“We’ll be tuning in the moment the show airs, and working hard to make sure the show and our client are massive hits.”

Buying London launches on Netflix this coming Wednesday.

The limited experience I have with seeing agents selling high end homes on TV would lead me to believe it’s a great way to stop anyone using the featured ‘property experts’ who are smashing it!!
