Chancellors to open a new branch in Hampshire

Chancellors has announced that it will open its newest branch in Basingstoke early next month.

The new branch, located on Winchester Street in the town centre, will open on Friday 7th January, and will offer a range of services including sales, lettings, property management, land and new homes.

Chancellors Basingstoke, which will become the 57th office to join the company’s expanding network, is launching with a 0% commission offer to the first 150 homeowners who instruct the company to sell their property.

In addition, the first 50 customers who instruct the new Chancellors branch to let their property will receive 0% lettings & property management fees for the first six months of their tenancy.

Chancellors Basingstoke will also cover the surrounding areas of Andwell, Bagmore, Broadmere, Chineham, Cliddesden, Hook, Oakley, Old Basing, Sherborne, Sherfield, Upper Wootton, and Wootton St Lawrence.

Robert Scott-Lee, managing director of the Chancellors group, commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be launching Chancellors Basingstoke in 2022. The group is well positioned to bring our services to this new market after a positive 2021.

“We’re starting to build up our network in Hampshire, as our new Basingstoke office will be the second branch in the county, joining our Fleet office. This is a real opportunity to engage with the communities throughout the areas that we cover in Hampshire and Berkshire to the north, and to offer our award-winning property services to Basingstoke residents.”

If they are not charging anything for their first 150 sales and first 50 lettings, they will just be employing unqualified, low paid staff with no professional experience to man the office, with support / telephone touting from the HQ call centre.  “You are a good looking young person, how would you like to manage our office.”  No wonder they have a high turnover of staff.
