Berriman Eaton opens new office in Worcestershire

Independent estate agency Berriman Eaton has opened a new office in Worcestershire.

The company, which has been serving Wolverhampton, South Staffordshire and Shropshire since 2006, has opened an office at Churchill & Blakedown Golf Club.

Berriman Eaton has joined forces with two local experts to invest £150,000 into setting up the dedicated office, which opened a few weeks ago.

Debbie Fellows and Julia Simonds have joined the firm to head-up Berriman Eaton Worcestershire and are responsible for selling and letting properties across the county, from Hagley in the East to Cleobury Mortimer in the west, the village of Kinver in the north and to Droitwich Spa in the south.

The duo previously ran the Bromsgrove and Kidderminster offices for Andrew Grant for the past 15 years.

Simonds said: “The Churchill Suite is a real hidden gem, set in the heart of the wonderful Worcestershire countryside and central to the areas we have worked in for over 20 years.

“In the old days, buyers had to visit the local estate agency shop to find out what properties were available and you had to be on the high street to be seen as an established agency. These days, people can get information, pictures and videos instantly and want more flexibility when it comes to meetings and viewings, meaning we could be a bit more creative with our location.”

She added: “We now get to look out across a golf course every day and clients that visit us are wowed by our amazing views. All the technology is now in place and the location is at the heart of all the main villages we have or are looking to have properties in.”

More than £3m of properties have been sold or let by Fellows and Simonds over the past few weeks. The pair were working remotely prior to the opening of the new office.

Fellows commented: “Our market research told us that one of the most frustrating things for both buyers and sellers is never being able to speak to the same person twice at larger estate agents.

“We took this on board and have ensured that all contact with BE Worcestershire will always be with either Julia or myself and, in just the first three months, we have received so much positive feedback on the personal service, our local understanding and attention to detail.”

She added: “A lot of investment has been channelled into social media as a way of showcasing the new brand. Working closely with Taylor Made Media, we have embarked on strong Facebook and Instagram campaigns and this is reaching a massive audience, which is fantastic news for our clients looking to sell.”
