Anthony Martin, a well-established estate agency brand in Kent, is to roll out its franchise model throughout the country.
The agency, which was established in 2011, currently has 10 offices within Kent and London, is hoping to expand its presence, via the franchising route, across the UK.
The existing Anthony Martin offices are located in Bexley, Bexleyheath, New Ash Green, Meopham, Locksbottom, Swanscombe, Dartford, Barnehurst, Mayfair and Sutton at Hone.
These offices specialise in sales, lettings, block management, while there is also a financial services arm available to each office.
To enable the expansion to happen Anthony Martin has employed, as its managing director, a franchise industry specialist in Derrick Maguire.
Maguire has experience in the UK with Belvoir and Martin & Co, as an area Manager, as well as in the Middle East with Asteco, having set-up 13 franchises from scratch in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait.
In Malta with Luxfair he helped launch seven franchises.
Maguire said: “The Franchise offering is unique for a UK company in that it will provide a full management service for the letting’s portfolio – saving the franchisee costs and wages on staff, software and dealing with all the compliance issues associated with modern day lettings whilst still generating an income from their portfolio.
“The franchise model will also provide inter office referrals on for sale properties, access to overseas inventory as well as specialising in support and training, something that many franchises cut to improve profits.
“Finally, it will encompass all the latest prop tech available and expert marketing support.”
He continued: “Anthony Martin Franchising is passionate on support and training and understands that the more you put into your franchisee the more successful they will become. Afterall Anthony [Martin], himself, has shown he can grow a business from scratch to being a multi-million-pound turnover business.
“The year has started well with 4 franchises already signed up in Kent, 2 others in advanced stages for South East London and due to Maguire’s overseas and UK contacts there are initial chats with potential franchisees in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Dubai and Malta.”
