Agent several counties away joins Keller Williams’ new market centre

An agent launching in Devon has signed up with the new Keller Williams market centre in Oxfordshire – several counties away.

Paul Dunford-Brown, formerly sales manager for Chancellors, has opened his own estate agency, Dunford-Brown Residential powered by Keller Williams.

Dunford-Brown spent almost ten years with independent chain Chancellors, latterly as sales manager in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

He launched his own business in Devon last month and has now been announced as confirming an agreement with Tanya Blake, the former Savills lettings director who has now launched KW Oxygen in south Oxfordshire.

Also joining KW Oxygen is Ryan Toms, formerly of Savills.

Toms has over 16 years experience in the industry, and lives in Buckinghamshire, an area where he covered lettings for Savills.

He said: “I have been welcomed by a whole new family. KW allows me to market my clients’ properties on a global platform, but most importantly, I have the time and resources to provide my clients with a personal one to one service, something that I have always strived to do and I believe is missing within the market.”

Dunford-Brown said that he had enjoyed his previous roles, but said he was often frustrated that clients who bought into him would then be passed to others for the remainder of their property journey.

He said: “I am excited to announce that after 16 years in the industry I have opened my very own estate agents: Dunford-Brown Residential Ltd powered by Keller Williams.

“I will be the sole point of contact and offer my clients one-to-one support on their property decisions from valuation to completion – and hopefully beyond.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for me, and I would like to thank Keller Williams for everything they have done so far.

“Tanya Blake deserves a special mention as her enthusiastic support and wise advice have been invaluable in helping me in setting things up.

“It is very exciting to be a part of her KW Oxygen market centre as it is launched.”

Keller Williams has a very different culture to those of Savills and Chancellors. It’s predicated on “overkill, over time.” with interruption marketing. Either these new recruits were previously square pegs in round holes and have finally found their ‘spiritual home’ , or they’ve been blinded by the promise of greener grass. Time will tell.

Several counties away? That’s the equivalent of someone in Birmingham joining a Newcastle based centre…… that’s several HOURS away!!!!!!
