High-profile estate agents feature in annual Superbrands list

Cluttons, Frank Knight and Savills along with hybrid Purplebricks have made the latest Superbrands list in the annual review of the UK’s leading brands. They are joined by property websites Rightmove and Zoopla.

While it still makes the list Purplebricks has dropped down the rankings since it was declared the 13th fastest growing brand in 2019 for gaining relevancy amongst consumers.

Commercial agency JLL is also declared a Superbrand in the property category.

The list is compiled by polling 2,500 adults alongside a panel of business experts who scrutinise over 3,000 consumer and business names.

A Superbrand is judged on quality, reliability, and distinction and it needs to be well known in its sector and different from rivals.

The Superbrands survey has been going since 1995, and brands neither apply or pay to be considered.

Damon Segal, CEO of Superbrands UK, commented: “While the year has continued to see monumental changes in the way the British public live and shop, we still rely on the comfort provided by major brands.”

The top Superbrand was luxury watch maker Rolex, followed by Lego and payment card Visa.  The research was independently managed by The Centre for Brand Analysis.
