Zoopla has reported that its new app has been welcomed by members of the public.
The app had 11.9m downloads within its first month, and the rate at which traffic converts to sales and lettings enquiries has risen by 36%.
Zoopla says that the number of mobile and tablet leads which Zoopla is delivering to agents is up by 25% compared with a year ago.
Zoopla CEO Charlie Bryant said: “It is fantastic to see this level of user engagement in our first month of launching this new app.
“It’s yet another prime example of Zoopla investing in and working hard to help agents compete more effectively in the marketplace and drive more leads to them.
“We are therefore thrilled to see such a significant increase in the number of leads the app is delivering to our agents.
“The success of this app is just the beginning. Our multi-million investment into our software productivity strategy will soon start to realise more fantastic benefits for our customers.”
The app’s initial roll-out was on June 6, with it being available to all iOS and Android users from July 23.
11.9m downloads – imagine if every one led to someone buying/selling a property, we’d all be in clover. Back to Alice in Wonderland it is then.

I’ve seen an increase in Zoopla leads in the last month or so – number and quality. I am sure that with their new money, Zoopla will have some really exciting ideas in the pipeline and they will overtake RM as number 1 portal.
