Zoopla gives agents chance to use NALS logo

Zoopla has added the National Approved Letting Scheme to its feature which allows members to display the professional associations and redress schemes they are affiliated with on various sections of the Zoopla and PrimeLocation websites.

NALS agents will be able to display the scheme’s logo, as members of RICS, TPO, ARLA and NAEA can already do.

Zoopla agents members can activate this feature under their profile in ZooplaPro and display the logos of their affiliations on all relevant agent directory pages, property details pages and professional reports across the ZPG platform.

Isobel Thomson, NALS chief executive, said: “This has reinforced the importance of consumers being able to easily distinguish between those agents who do meet strict compliance requirements against those who don’t.

“We are delighted that our firms will be able to display that they are part of NALS, with all the consumer protection that brings.

“We are grateful to ZPG for working with us to achieve this instant recognition which ultimately is to the benefit of the sector as a whole”.

Jon Notley, commercial director of Zoopla Property Group, said: “We have worked closely with NALS to ensure that our member agents can now also display their membership with NALS clearly on the property details page for the benefit of home hunters.

“We have been championing this initiative and it is offered to all our members at no extra cost.

“It is a great way for our members to showcase their professional affiliations to home hunters.

“Our member agents are proud of these associations and we are delighted to be able to help promote them to consumers.”
