Zoopla clinches multi-year deal with Persimmon

Zoopla has signed a deal with Persimmon that will see all of the housebuilder’s stock processed through the property company’s software solutions.

The multi-year contract, running until at least 2025, will also allow conveyancers and mortgage brokers to connect to Persimmon buyers via the Sales Progression portal.

Zoopla said that adopting the full suite of software, which includes Yourkeys, will enable Persimmon to “digitally onboard buyers, improve its sales and marketing effectiveness and manage AML checks from a single platform”.

The company added that the deal will help Persimmon comply with the New Homes Quality Board as Zoopla’s software will generate and store a digital record of the whole house-buying journey.

Andy Marshall, chief commercial officer at Zoopla, commented: “Persimmon’s investment highlights their ambition to be the most forward-thinking, tech-savvy and customer focused housebuilder in the country.

“This new chapter in our partnership builds on our already long standing relationship and will not only deliver a best-in-class customer experience for Persimmon customers – but will also drive efficiencies that will put them ahead of the curve for next year and beyond.”

Sonia Da Costa, chief customer experience officer at Persimmon, said she was “delighted” with the deal. “Our vision is to be Britain’s leading home-builder with quality and customers at its heart,” she added. “This investment in Zoopla’s leading technology for customers and colleagues shows our determination to make purchasing a new home with Persimmon as easy as possible.”
