Zoopla app ranks fifth in Apple’s App Store

The latest rankings from Apple’s App Store reveal that the Zoopla property search app is one of the most popular mobile apps in the UK, currently sitting as the 5th highest ranked app in the free Lifestyle app category ahead of brands like Boots, Argos and ASOS.

PrimeLocation, owned by ZPG, also sits within the top 50 apps in the UK under the same category.

The ZPG’s apps have already achieved over 5m total downloads with users awarding the Zoopla app a 4 out of 5 star rating and the PrimeLocation app receiving a 4.5 star rating.

Lawrence Hall of ZPG said: “Mobile is an essential part of any platform today and our strong market position ensures that our members receive the widest possible exposure across all devices.

“With both the Zoopla and PrimeLocation apps ranking so highly in the App Store and millions of downloads already, agents not visible on these apps are missing out on huge exposure.”

As so many agents are taking their property stock away from Zoopla and placing it instead on OnTheMarket, the public will be missing out if they only search on Zoopla.

You’d better start letting them know MF, one by one …start ringing

Is it that arduous a task Danny: 100 offices a month x what shall we say 30 properties each…..3000 a month waving goodbye to Zoopla. Still look on the bright side you’ll have your own portal shortly.

I did have to smile when I went through the reviews. Loads of positive ones in March and Feb but you don’t have to go back through many to start seeing comments like “useless, half the properties have now gone” “might work in the South but there is nothing in the North” and “Seems to be all sold properties, where are all the for sale ones”

It seems that Lawrence Hall from Zoopla didn’t think it was just EYE that had a birthday yesterday, it seems he thinks the rest of us were born yesterday too!

Keep the eclipse, what event we are witnessing here is the biggest corporate meltdown in the last decade!

    Just for context:

The OTM app has also been above Boots, Argos and Asos at points since its launch, and has been above PL for about 75% of the time. OTM has also been in the top 50 nearly all the time only dropping to ~70 over the last week or so (PL has spent most of the time at around 90). Rightmove and Zoopla also benefit from a great deal more leisure users as they are national power brands. Someone said that doesn’t make a difference (something along the lines of if you can get people in a shop they’ll spend money) however leisure users don’t just decide to buy a £300k house and they certainly aren’t sending through serious inquiries.

Nonetheless, getting to the top 5 ahead of Righmove is quite impressive for Zoopla.

Mr Hall – do the public, the industry and yourself a huge favour and CHANGE THE BL00DY RECORD.

You, like the portal you represent so poorly, are a one-trick pony.

Time for the knackers’ yard, methinks.

I thought, perhaps wrongly, that apps were a bit “old hat”

I used to get loads of companies trying to sell me the idea but not any more. Especially now that company websites are designed with mobile devices at their heart?

Actually, online shopping is increasing with the development of technology that’s why most of us starting eCommerce or online store businesses as its a good way to spread your business all over the world. Mobile apps also are the good source to engage the users for selling your products. Bundle of agencies are available who developed any kind of apps for your business, i also have developed an app for ipad from ipad app developers leadconcept(.)com/offshore-ipad-app-development.html for my business. Recently, I seriously thought about opening my online store. Being by nature a person rather consistent and balanced, I decided not to be carried out on colorful advertising, but to independently familiarize myself with all the widely used variants of content management systems. Anyways, thanks for sharing the nice piece of stuff with us.
