Next Tuesday could be your busiest day of the year in terms of incoming phone calls and visits to your website.

Moneypenny, which provides an outsourced service in live chats and call handling for agents, says that last year, the Tuesdays following bank holidays were about 10% busier than normal.

Busiest of the lot was the Tuesday following the August bank holiday.

Of course, it could simply mean that Moneypenny was busier than normal because agents were either stretching out their bank holiday weekends – or out on viewings and away from office phones.

However, if you do get back to work on Tuesday and your phones are ringing off the hook, don’t say you haven’t been warned.
