Agents Giving is gearing up to celebrate another year of charitable giving by the sector after unveiling the shortlist for the most inspiring fundraisers in the agency sector.

The winners of the 2017 Agents Giving Fundraising Champions Awards will be announced at the Agents Giving Charity Ball on December 8th at The Royal Lancaster Hotel London.

Previous examples of fundraising efforts have included camel and boat racing, but winners won’t necessarily be those who do the craziest stunts or raise the most.

Instead, the competition looks for those special heart-wrenching stories.

A statement from Agents Giving ahead of the awards said: “We have collated many fundraising stories, great and small.

Our fundraising champions don’t necessarily raise the most money or do the craziest challenges – sometimes it is the personal nature of the fundraising or support that makes it so special.

“We would like to thank all the agents and suppliers who entered these awards this year. We have read about so many wonderful fundraising events and seen examples of truly heartwarming stories – well done to everyone.

“This once again highlights that there are so many agents and suppliers in the industry doing some fantastic charity, fundraising and community work.”
