Well-established property professionals launch new estate agency

Two well-respected property professionals with more than 65 years’ combined experience in the industry have set-up a new estate agency.

Reed and Baum has been launched by renowned surveyor Aiden Reed and Martyn Baum, former president of the NAEA Propertymark.

The new company, based in Quorn, Leicestershire, has been established to “reclaim service driven elements of traditional real estate, while providing transparency and honest advice”.

Reed, formerly of AJR Estate Agents, previously worked alongside Baum at John German Estate Agents, AJR and NAEA Propertymark over a 25-year period.

Baum, who was the youngest elected president of the estate agency trade association, commented: “Having worked in estate agency for over 25 years, I was ready to have my name above the door and embark on this new chapter.

“Working alongside local agents for what feels like a lifetime, I acknowledge the customer frustrations experienced within this industry I love. Reed and Baum can make a difference and I am thrilled to be leading the way alongside Aiden who has been an agent in the area for over 40 years.”

He added: “Charnwood has been my home since I was a small boy, the passion I have for our local area and the exceptional property within it cannot be matched. At Reed and Baum, we look forward to putting service at the front of estate agency once again.”

Maybe have a website before sending out a launch press release?

Or we could just wish them good luck Malcolm!

That’s what I’ll do, best of luck Aiden and Martyn.
