Well-established franchisee completes acquisition of independent estate agency

The Solihull branch of Hunters has completed an independent acquisition of Hall Green-based business Searchers, which was founded by Nicki Long in 1995.

Hunters, which was acquired by The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) last year, has more than 200 branches nationwide, with plans to expand further.

Becki Dean, lettings director for the North and Midlands Hunters offices, said: “It is really hard to find quality businesses for sale and we feel lucky to have been able to acquire a great business like Searchers.

“The previous owner Nicki was keen to ensure that her customers were well looked after, and we can certainly assure her of that.

“We hope that this will be the first of many acquisitions into the Hunters group. Although the office has been relocated to Solihull, the existing team are still in place and look forward to servicing all their customers as part of Hunters.”

Gareth Samples, TPFG CEO, added: “As a group we are always looking to speak to business owners who are looking to sell and have a great team in place to ensure it’s a smooth process and right for all parties’.
