Jon Cooke, the current CEO of epropservices, the parent company of The Guild of Property Professionals and Fine & Country, has worked in the estate agency sector for 36 years.

Having started his career in 1986, Cooke has operated across the UK estate agency market at a local and national level in positions ranging from branch manager to founder of the luxury brand Fine & Country.

Having led several start-up businesses into dominant market players, starting with Intercounty, which grew organically and by acquisition to a turnover of £30m as part of an M&A vehicle LSLi – owned by LSL Property Services Plc – Cooke has plenty of stories to share.

Cooke recently took part in an interview with property journalist Christopher Watkin in which he reflects on how the estate agency sector has evolved over the past three decades – providing some useful tips for agents in the process.
