Latest entrant to the Hall of Horrors is well known agency trainer and accomplished artist, Julian O’Dell, who sent us these pictures taken in 1982 and 2020.

Note that it is the same shirt – but not the same hair (remember what we said happens to hair?) or the same fag. Sensibly, today he favours dragging on a plastic tube by the look of it.

The youthful O’Dell must surely be in a Left Bank cafe; exuding laid-back pensiveness, the exquisitely well-tied yellow scarf a beacon to the super-cool Parisienne chicks walking by – who walked by a little faster when they saw him…

And today, there he sits, still laid back, still pensive, still stylish. And still able to fit into the shirt he wore back in the day. There’s not many of us who could do that!
