Take that: Rock and roll as new property firm reaches for the stars

A new property business is rocking and rolling – with a very famous clientele.

Norland Property has been set up by David Pittman and business partner Natasha Voyatzis.

Both were with Marsh & Parsons until last September in director and associate director roles.

Voyatzis has also worked for Foxtons and Knight Frank, while Pittman managed the Marsh & Parsons Holland Park office in London.

When they set up Norland Property, they decided that the somewhat sticky upper- London market suggested that they should not pigeonhole themselves.

So, their business means they are well diversified as sales agents, search agents, and also property consultants – and with strong ties to wealth management companies.

However, says Pittman, the real point of differentiation is the new firm’s strong links with the music industry.

Pittman told EYE: “Before joining Marsh & Parsons in 2005 I spent 18 years working in marketing and PR within the music business – as head of press at Virgin Records and with stints at EMI, Polygram and BMG prior to that.

“As a result, since launching Norland we have found that around half our business, whether it be sourcing property or managing sales, comes from music artists, label executives, managers and accountants.

“We’ve just exchanged on a Notting Hill house for a high profile music executive, are handling the search and sale for another and are currently conducting a west country search for a very well known pop act.

“We spend as much time in the West London HQs of Warners, EMI, Universal and BMG as we do in estate agents offices.”

We pleaded with him to name drop, but Pittman wasn’t playing ball.

He said: “Part of the appeal of our service for these individuals is the assurance of complete confidentiality.

“However, I can tell you that before my years in property, I was a marketing manager at Virgin Records for the Rolling Stones and George Michael, and that in the distant past I worked as press officer with Take That and Annie Lennox.”

    Groan,

Most of North London Estate agents will have dealt with pop stars, someone from East Enders or the Bill or Coronation, Radoi1 , BBC execs, film stars, etc etc.

Perhaps not so many in North East but the rest of North London is choca with em!

I myself have dealt with many and I never thought it was anyone’s business.

    How pretentious.
