Spicerhaart has faced another complaint to the advertising watchdog after a customer claimed the agency continued sending marketing letters despite repeated requests for them to stop.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) contacted Spicerhaart after receiving the complaint.

The customer claimed the agency continued sending letters despite multiple requests to remove their details from its mailing list.

Spicerhaart subsequently took action to address the complaint, allowing the ASA to close the case informally without issuing a formal ruling.

Previous complaint involved property photos

The latest case follows a separate complaint involving Haart, part of the Spicerhaart Group, last year.

In that case, a customer challenged photographs that Haart used to advertise a property.

The complainant argued that the images did not accurately show the property’s current condition.

After the ASA contacted Haart, the agency explained that it had used photographs from an earlier listing to protect the sitting tenant’s privacy.

Haart agreed to remove the photographs until it could use more recent images.

EYE has approached Spicerhaart for comment.
