Significant increase in number of agents getting qualified

Since the re-opening of test centres three weeks ago, Propertymark qualifications has seen more than 750 exams taken, and 850 exams have already been booked for May.

The numbers reported by Propertymark show an increased commitment from agents looking to get qualified.

The demand has been so great that Propertymark Qualifications (PMQ) has worked with Pearson Vue to open a further 75 test centres across the UK, along with Pearson VUE extending the opening hours at many of the new and existing test centres.

Michael Smith, head of qualifications and regulatory responsible officer, said: “I am delighted to see the enthusiasm and commitment to get qualified, and we are doing everything we can to support learners with registration extensions, increased communication about test centres, and we will soon be releasing new past papers to support Level four learners in their exam preparation.”

The Propertymark Qualifications Awards event is expected to take place in September, and nominations will be open later this month for the categories of Learner of the Year, Rising Star and Employer Champion of the Year.

Propertymark Qualifications are regulated across the UK by Ofqual in England, Qualifications Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Assessment and Examinations in Northern Ireland. Credit and level rated qualifications in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework are also available.

We’re seeing the same at Able Agent – but we’re more excited about people being able to sit their CePAP qualification at home or in the office in exam conditions!  Much less stressful and takes much less time out of the working day.
