Savills has bought a long-established rural estate agency specialist in a £40m deal.
Smiths Gore, which is based in Peterborough, employs 532 staff across 31 offices.
Founded in 1847, Smiths Gore will be integrated into Savills and trade under the Savills name.
The deal is expected to complete by the third quarter of this year.
That’s a shame.
