Rightmove aims to entice estate agents with ‘personalised’ marketing videos

Rightmove has created thousands of personalised videos to help estate and letting agency branches highlight this year’s achievements to prospective vendors and landlords. See example below.

The new digital asset can be used across an agent’s various channels as we enter a key instruction building phase and ahead of the jump in activity in the New Year.

Recent research from Rightmove found that videos in display advertising get 1.8 times more interactions than ads without video.

The bespoke data includes performance metrics such as property views, enquiries and number of sales for each branch, and each video is also branded with the agent’s logo.

The video replaces Rightmove’s annual printed calendars, to provide agents with more sustainable and bespoke marketing collateral.

Rightmove’s agency director, Dave Anderson, said: “We wanted to create something that agents can use to help them showcase their brand and their achievements for the year, and as a thank you for choosing Rightmove. The results in the videos highlight just what an exceptional year it’s been.

“We’re yet to see where the level of home-moving activity will settle next year, but we know how quickly agents adapt to changing market conditions to create new opportunities for their businesses. We’re looking forward to working with agents next year to make sure they’re using the most effective marketing solutions to continue to drive forward their brand’s digital presence.”

    Right idea, wrong execution.

Homeowners don’t want to hear more bragging about what they do from agencies – they want to hear them talk about Who they are.
