Rightmove has expelled the letting agent that was selling listings on eBay, as revealed by Eye.
Rightmove listings at £9.99 each were being offered for sale on eBay by Elite Property London.
Purchasers could pay for them by PayPal and add as many listings as they wanted to their basket.
A spokesperson for Rightmove has now told Eye: “As soon as this case was brought to our attention, we spoke with the customer and the eBay listing was removed on the same day.
“We immediately conducted re-vetting of Elite Property London Ltd and we have since terminated their contract.
“We carry out routine re-vetting of members on a regular basis to ensure that they comply with our terms and conditions.”
