Reviews site allAgents to host first ever awards ceremony

Review website allAgents has announced that it will be hosting their first ever awards ceremony later this year.

The event, which will form both an online and physical awards ceremony will be hosted in the evening by a special guest, yet to be announced.

The allAgents Customer Experience Awards Ceremony has previously proved popular with many agents thanks to their digital awards, downloadable certificates, and general property industry recognition.

Martin Mckenzie, director of business development at allAgents, said: “Our awards are truly unique to the industry as every listed Agent on our website is automatically entered free of charge. There is no shortlisting based on ability to pay and the winners are based solely on the all-important customer experience.

“Moreover, for full transparency all customer reviews are published on our open review platform for everyone to see.”

Originally this year’s very first allAgents Customer Experience Awards Ceremony was due to take place in Glasgow. However, due to COP26 taking place late autumn in the city, it was then decided to look to a date towards the end of November.

McKenzie added: “The chosen venue for this prestigious event will also be confirmed in due course, with all event information announced on our newly dedicated website as and when it is announced.”

I say good luck to them.  We’ve always found allAgents to be a first class method of sharing our customer’s positive feedback with the general public and potential new customers and the more they can do to promote themselves the more the public will rely on them to help find decent agents.  It also helps keep our team focussed on giving decent customer service as they know their customer’s experience will be out there for all the world to see.  I don’t book a hotel without consulting review sites and I hope the day comes when no one would pick an agent without doing the same.  Too many agents promise the world but don’t back up their promises with actions, allAgents will certainly help ensure that the business goes to the agents who deserve it.  We have also never seen or had issues with fake reviews, our company has several thousand reviews including a handful of bad but they are all from what I can see 100% genuine.  We have additionally always had a speedy and helpful response when something does go wrong or we need to add a new member of staff.    So my opinion, a first class set up and just what the industry needs.

So cynical.  I’m just the owner of a 5 branch independent agent who has never met or spoken with Mr McKenzie but thinks they do a good job.  I’m quick to comment what I see articles on companies who I am not impressed with so think it’s reasonable to pass positive comments occasionally too.

The sad truth is these days its all too easy for companies and/or employees to write glowing reviews of their own by claiming to be someone they are not, or even have the real negative reviews of their business altered by the platform they are logged with – you’ve only got to look as far as the online agents who are all guilty of this. Known many estate agents who have their own spreadsheet of fake email accounts to submit reviews of their own or even belittle their competitors. Scrap online reviews altogether their far too damaging, and impossible to govern. What was wrong with word of mouth and personal recommendations..

The general public do not give a tinkers cuss about awards.

My company has won a few and yes we had to buy a table at an event – naturally.

Not one visitor to any of our development has ever mentioned any award we have won.

The only people who gain anything from the so called awards are the people organising them who make money out of it.

I agree the public are ambivalent about awards but they do like positive, obviously genuine reviews.  Do you not look at reviews when buying a product on Amazon, when considering a vendor on eBay or take a look at TripAdvisor when booking a hotel or restaurant?

“…the public are ambivalent about awards but they do like positive, obviously genuine reviews.”

You then go on to name three websites where fake reviews are more prevalent than product.

Next you’ll be telling us that (un)Trust(worthy)pilot are the go-to for honest opinion.
