To effectively inspire, lead and manage a team of Branch Managers within the Middlesex Division, ensuring residential property sales are maximised, market share increased and cross selling optimised.
Through your enthusiastic approach to sales, your commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset, you will be required to focus on both the micro and the larger strategic sales picture at all times.
Your role will play an integral part in supporting the Managing Director to achieve the business goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities
Recruit, develop and retain a team of approx 16 Branch Managers across the region
In conjunction with the Managing Director, implement, monitor and evaluate business sales targets to achieve sustained growth in line with Company strategic goals and vision
Lead a successful team of Branch Managers
Provide leadership, motivation and business development/sales direction to your team whilst demonstrating how they can capitalise on sales opportunities and improve personal performance
Manage all sales and business development activity across the region in order to achieve the business objectives and targets in line with the Company way
Understand the commercial market and the commercial strengths and weaknesses of our competitors to capitalise on sales opportunities
Develop and manage (in conjunction with the Managing Director) the region’s operations budget ensuring that a cost effective business is consistently maintained
Developing and delivering a challenging and rewarding environment which encourages employees to continually add value, improve ways of working and to develop and grow on an individual basis
Be involved with the Marketing team in the development of the Sales strategy, review the Sales process and make suggestions and recommendations to help achieve the regions sales targets
Ensure all Branch Managers are compliant with Company guidelines, policies and procedures (including Health & Safety) and that the region maintains best practise, promoting a consistent, high quality, customer focused approach to business
Create the culture and environment to underpin and support the Company vision

Key skills & experience:
Essential:
An experienced Sales Manager or Director with a background of managing large successful sales teams whilst ensuring compliance to agreed sales plans/business plans
Exceptional communicator and competent presenter at senior level
A persuasive and influential sales professional who can lead by example and use their own previous sales successes
Proven track record of developing individuals to continually build competence, personal performance and sales
Manages by a combination of leadership, role modelling and robust sales processes
Ability to evidence an understanding of the importance of accurate forecasting
Ability to effectively introduce and implement change
Ability to operate and work well under pressure
Well presented, well spoken with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be computer literate in Microsoft products and have the ability to use internal systems. A flexible approach to working hours maybe required.
Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full and valid driving licence (preferable clean) for use with a Company vehicle
Desirable:
Local knowledge would be preferable
Experience of operating at Senior Manager level within the Estate Agency arena
