PropTech duo announces integration for AI legal solution

PropTech firms Search Acumen and Avail have announced a new AI technology collaboration.

The integration of Avail Title – which uses AI to read registered title documents and generate risk reports – into Search Acumen’s due diligence platform aims to provide lawyers with a “one-stop shop”, offering access to information for identifying and communicating red flag issues to clients at the start of the property transaction process.

Andrew Lloyd, managing director at Search Acumen, commented: “The property industry, to its detriment, has always lagged behind other sectors in embracing technological advancement. Its use, specifically AI, is a vital and integral part of transforming the way the property industry functions, bringing it in line with other sectors.

“The integration of our offerings is another step towards our goal of achieving digitalisation in the property sector. This aim is echoed by Avail Title, and we are excited to work together to continue striving to achieve this.”

On the partnership, Dom Conte, Avail’s chief product officer, said: “We are really excited to unveil our collaboration with Search Acumen, a partnership that will play on the strengths of both companies.

“Avail Title has been developed by lawyers, for lawyers, so we hold a deep understanding of what is needed to minimise their workload.”
