Propalt launches ChatGPT connector to give agents AI access to data

Property data and prospecting platform Propalt has launched a ChatGPT connector that allows estate agents to access information through external AI tools.

The integration enables agents to query datasets using natural language, returning information on sales, lettings, landlord portfolios, planning applications, charge records and market averages. The company said the tool is designed to speed up prospecting and improve how agents identify potential instructions.

Propalt claims the connector is the first of its kind built specifically for estate agency use with ChatGPT, reflecting growing interest in applying AI to data analysis rather than administrative tasks.

Unlike in-platform AI assistants, the connector feeds data directly into an agent’s chosen AI tools, allowing them to control how the information is used and combined with other systems.

Kieran Slinger, co-founder of Propalt, said the move reflects a shift in how agents use technology. “We built this because estate agents don’t need more complexity or to wait for applications to be built within platforms. They need more access to trusted data and better visibility of the opportunities in their market,” he said.

“By connecting Propalt to ChatGPT and other AI platforms, we’re making property intelligence more accessible, more usable and far more actionable.

“While much of the AI conversation in property has focused on content creation and admin tasks within native applications, our approach is different – this is about helping agents use AI where it matters most: identifying opportunities, understanding marketplaces and winning more business in their own AI.”
