OnTheMarket (OTM) yesterday announced that the firm’s Annual General Meeting in London will be held on 27 July 2021 at 10am.
Despite government plans to allow further relaxation of restrictions on 19 July, shareholders are expected to be permitted to attend the AGM in person. However, OTM insists that ‘safety is of paramount importance to the company’. Shareholders are therefore encouraged not to attend the AGM in person and to vote by proxy.
Should the company’s AGM procedures change, particularly from any change in government guidance, OTM says that it will accordingly issue a further public announcement in the earliest instance.
A statement says: ‘Shareholders who still wish to attend the AGM in person, should this be possible, are asked to register their intention as soon as practicable by email to investorrelations@onthemarket.com with the subject title “AGM 2021” to enable the Company to ensure the venue remains safe and the relevant risk assessments can be performed.
‘Hard copies of the Company’s Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements for the year ended 31 January 2021 and the Notice of Annual General Meeting will be posted today to shareholders who elected to receive these. Electronic copies are available on the Company’s website at https://plc.onthemarket.com within the Investors section.’
OTM announced last month that it had increased its revenues by 22% in the year ended 31st January 2021 and recorded a profit of £2.4m for the first time, up £11.6m on the previous year.
