We noticed that our readers, in your haste to impart your knowledge/wit/wisdom, can sometimes get a little over-hasty in the keyboard department and post a comment that contains some errors.
That results in you having to post a correction, and when it happens several times in a thread it all gets a little bit messy.
So we have introduced a simple but very handy facility to allow you to edit your comment for up to one hour after it has been made.
You can now hit the submit button safe in the knowledge that not only can your innocent spelling errors be corrected, but also that you have an hour in which to ponder whether what you posted was really quite such a good idea after all.
We hope you will find the edit function useful and that you won’t have to use it too often!
Excellent feature. So now, if I make a spilling mistake I can correct it and not look daft.
