New software launching in UK automatically turns listing into social media advert

A new software product aimed at helping agents use social media is due to launch in the UK.

The Brightbee technology enables agents to automatically turn their property listings into social media adverts which can immediately be placed on platforms such as Facebook, Google and Instagram.

The software, which is Swedish in origin, aims to track both passive home buyers and sellers on social media before targeting them with the adverts.

Director Niven Chinasamy said: “We want to challenge the likes of Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket and put more control back into the hands of agents and landlords.”

He claims that the software can increase traffic to agents’ own landing pages, reduce sales lead times and increase agents’ brand recognition.

In Sweden, the software has been integrated with the country’s largest CRM providers, and Chinasamy says similar integration is already taking place in the UK.

He said: “This has become the new go-to tool in Sweden for agents to acquire new sellers and landlords. We’ve helped many small to medium sized agents to save money and create an efficient way of working, which in these turbulent times has really helped them to stay afloat.

“With the ever-increasing price rates of portals, we can hopefully help agents feel less trapped.”

Costs are from £50 per property, or on monthly subscriptions aimed at larger agents costing £299.

Brightbee’s launch in the UK has itself encountered some turbulent times caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It was due to be unveiled at the ARLA show this month, which was cancelled.

The UK launch is now scheduled for next week when the firm will also be offering 360 degree virtual tours where agents can have live calls and do interactive viewings with multiple callers.

Chinasamy said: “We’ve been working hard to roll this feature out in light of everything that’s been happening.”

Brightbee is offering the first 100 agents a free agency ad, aimed and placed at reaching sellers/landlords in specific areas. Any readers interested should quote ‘Propertyeye’ when signing up.

Good idea but i think the pricing will let them down, for £50 a property its a 10 minute job to do yourself.

Where this differs is the data that is inputted into their algorithms and the target settings which are specifically created for each property type so you don’t have to do this laborious task every time for each property on every platform. £50 for 8-15 new leads is a pretty good deal to me 🙂
