New service to provide fresh revenue stream for agents

Vouch has launched ‘Vouch Voids’, a new online service working with ScottishPower, designed to provide a new revenue stream for agents and landlords during void periods and to streamline the change of tenancy process.

The Vouch Voids dashboard enables agents to automatically switch providers to ScottishPower upon change of occupancy. This allows agents to earn commission for void properties that are successfully switched to the service provider, whilst at the same time minimising landlord costs during the void period as the property will be set up on a no standing charge tariff for up to 45 days.

The dashboard also allows agents to manage all of their properties from a single platform. The Vouch Voids service will also be able to notify council tax and water authorities of any changes in occupancy.

Existing Vouch customers will be able to use the same login details to manage both their digital referencing and voids through the new service, with zero double data entry required.

Vouch says the voids dashboard has been specifically developed to allow agents to stay on top of their revenue streams whilst engaging with ScottishPower via Vouch, cutting out the middlemen and avoiding unreported commissions.

The new online dashboard will be activated on all platforms in stages, with the launch webinar taking place today at 11.30am.

Jaime Tillyer, director of Vouch, commented: “Following numerous conversations with our clients, it became apparent that the Voids offerings available through our partners were just not in line with how the agents or the Vouch platform works.

“Agents reported frustrations around always speaking to a middleman, so the solution as we saw it was to do what we do best and build a Voids platform from the agents’ point of view. We invite anybody who would like to learn more about Vouch Voids to attend our webinar on Wednesday 16th February.”
