New property portal will give agents free trial until January 2018

A new property portal is launching, called Rent Buy Live.

It claims to be one of the UK’s largest property portals, with the aim to be the number one place for all listings and search.

It also sets out to provide “an exceedingly satisfactory service” for both agents and the public.

Its home page says: “As such, our practices, conduct and pricing reflects the changes that the market has been so eager to see. Simply put – we offer the highest quality of service and we do not hike our prices, ever.”

Based in Barking, Essex, it is offering a free trial for all agents until January 2018.

According to Companies House, the director of Rent Buy Live Online Ltd is Fahad Tariq, appointed in June this year.

Using what measurement is this portal one of the UKs largest? This is just opening yourself up to ridicule from day one.

Agents will not sign up to a portal that consumers have never heard of. As for claiming its one of the largest portals in the UK… Ridiculous

Happy to agree with you there.

But – will you be listing on this ‘ridiculous’ portal? – that’s the question!

If they are claiming to be one of the UK’s largest portals how can it be that they have no properties listed for sale or to let when I search London, Cheltenham, Birmingham and a couple of other large towns around the country? Surely before making such a claim it would be useful to have something to offer??

As there are so many property portals now in existence all competing for property to sell. Maybe they should consider paying estate agents to advertise on their site?

Nice to get something back eh?

Funnily enough, I was wondering what has happened to LAST WEEK’s ‘new’ portal.  We read about it here:

    http://www.propertyindustryeye.com/new-property-portal-gears-up-for-launch-next-week/

and it went ‘live’ on the 14th.

Well… five days down the line – and they’re asking “Please Bear With us Whilst”…  “Properties are Being Loaded”

So far – the total uploaded seems to be somewhere (subject to independent verification, of course…)  in the very approximate region of NONE.

Otherwise – the site just sits there – looking like every other cheap clone.

Wazz-up, organisation of an event and venue: brewery come to mind…
