New managing director for LSLi announced

Greg Young, managing director of Intercounty Estate Agents, has been promoted to managing director of LSLi with immediate effect.

LSLi is the arm of LSL that provides growth and development and also exit opportunities for independent estate and letting agents.

It currently has nine estate agency brands under its banner, including Intercounty and Davis Tate, and operates from 65 offices in and around greater London and the home counties.

Young was an original founder of Intercounty, which was the first business acquired by LSLi in 2007.

Since then, as Intercounty managing director, he has continued to grow and develop the agency across Essex and Hertfordshire.

For the last three years Young has also been part of the LSLi operating board with specific responsibility for its estate agency brands JNP, Frosts and Lawlors.

Young’s promotion follows the departure of David Brown who last month became CEO of Marsh & Parsons, which was acquired by LSL in 2011.

Adrian Gill, executive director of estate agency at LSL – who is himself leaving to become group managing director of the merged firms of Romans and Leaders – said: “I am delighted that Greg has been promoted to this new position which is a natural progression from his existing role and is in recognition of his significant contribution to the development and growth of Intercounty and also LSLi over the years.

“I wish him every success in the future.”
