Alto has launched AutoCert, an AI-powered compliance tool that automates the renewal of property certificates for letting agents.
Integrated into the Alto CRM platform and developed with Aguru, the software manages renewals for gas safety certificates, EICRs and EPCs by identifying upcoming expiry dates, coordinating with landlords, tenants and contractors, validating documents and updating records.
Alto said the tool allows agents to continue using their existing contractor networks and could save more than 70 hours of administrative work per branch each year by reducing the time spent on certificate renewals by up to 80%.
The launch forms part of Alto’s wider Alto Intelligence suite, which is designed to automate routine property management tasks. The company said the technology also aims to reduce the risk of compliance failures, which can lead to financial penalties and other regulatory issues for landlords and letting agents.
“Compliance doesn’t generate revenue. But it carries enormous risk when it goes wrong”, said Riccardo Iannucci-Dawson, CEO of Alto.
“AutoCert is how we remove that risk entirely. Not by reminding your team to act, but by acting itself,” he added. “The renewal workflow runs and the records update. The certificates land in Alto. Your team oversees it, but they don’t have to manage every aspect of a certificate renewal anymore.”
