Material Information webinar to help agents comply with NTSELAT’s new guidance

James Munro

Following the announcement of Material Information Parts B & C, Rightmove is providing a range of resources to help agents understand and comply with the new guidance from National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team (NTSELAT).

The property portal will host a webinar for agents with NTSELAT this morning at 10am.

James Munro, head of NTSELAT and Emma Cooke, policy and information manager, will go through the newly released guidance, and Rightmove’s general counsel, David Cox, will share what Rightmove is doing to help agents comply on their property listings.

With the guidance announced yesterday, agents will be able to ask NTSELAT and Rightmove directly any questions they may have on the new guidance or clarify any points they’re unsure of.

Agents can submit questions in advance for NTSELAT and register here.

A new training course on the CPRs – updated now with Material Information Parts B & C

Rightmove has worked with NTSELAT on a brand new training course designed to help agents understand and comply with the Consumer Protection Regulations (CPRs), including Material Information.

The course has now been updated with a new section on Material Information Parts B and C, so that agents can immediately feel more confident in complying with the new guidance.

The course is broken down into a series of short videos, and agents can view and enrol onto the course here.
