LSL’s flagship London brand Marsh & Parsons has opened its 31st office in London – despite challenging times.
The latest branch is in Streatham, where the first vendors will be offered free deals.
The office is headed up by Stacey Blacker in charge of sales, and Charlotte Whitmarsh who heads up lettings.
Marsh & Parsons chief executive Patrick Littlemore said that the opening is in line with the firm’s stated strategy to grow its network to 36.
The latest LSL results show a fall in operating profits at Marsh & Parsons from £3.9m to £2.3m for last year, but LSL also said that its strategy was to expand the M & P network.
was it £60 odd million LSL paid for M&P? Profits seem to keep drifting down but they are building a good looking network. 31 offices should be making more than £90k each profit each though, that is quite a marginal figure and only takes a handful of sales to make big difference in either direction. The market will come back at some point and when it does you could see M&P’s profit really take off. That £20m they put in yopa would have bought them a lot of new offices to conquer London.
