Bidwells has launched a new full-service residential property agency in Oxford, bringing sales, lettings and new homes together under one roof in the city for the first time.
The new operation combines three core service lines within a single team structure. Maxine Reynolds leads the sales division, overseeing resale transactions across Oxford.
Nick Jones joins as a partner following Bidwells’ acquisition of his business, Nicholas Jones Residential, which has operated in the area for more than a decade with a portfolio spanning apartments and houses. He will head up the lettings arm.
Meanwhile, Iain Powis, who joined Bidwells in January 2025, leads the new homes offering, working with developers on the marketing and sale of new-build schemes across the region.
The new residential agency is supported directly by Bidwells’ land and development team, led in Oxford by Zanna Bowles, which provides access to planning intelligence, development economics and pipeline visibility.
Bidwells already has a stromg presence in Oxford spanning science and technology advisory, planning, project management, rural agency and advisory services for clients.
David Bentley, head of Residential at Bidwells, said: “What we are building in Oxford is a fundamentally different proposition to most residential agencies. Maxine, Nick and Iain each bring deep local expertise in their respective disciplines, but it is the combination of sales, lettings and new homes sitting alongside our land, development and planning teams that gives clients something they cannot get elsewhere.
“Oxford is one of the most supply-constrained markets in the country and the demand fundamentals are only strengthening. We are delighted to welcome them to the team and to be building this offer here.”
The launch of Bidwells’ Oxford residential agency marks a significant step in the firm’s Nexus growth strategy, which aims to double the size of the business through regional expansion, service diversification and investment in high-growth sectors.
