LSL has said that it is on the acquisition trail after it bought a lettings and property management business in Hampshire.

The parent company of brands including Your Move and Reeds Rains has bought LetCo Homes, in Whiteley.

The firm was founded in 2006 and went on to grow significantly under the leadership of director Robert Leatherland.

In 2016 LetCo increased the footprint of the business by acquiring Portsmouth-based Top-Let.

Ellie Hall, acquisitions and integration director for LSL Acquisitions, said: “We are delighted to have acquired LetCo and see this as further evidence of LSL’s continued drive to acquire letting books across the country.

“All existing LetCo have been informed of the change of ownership but as the business will continue to operate with its existing team and from its current premises, it is expected that it will be very much business as usual for existing LetCo landlords and tenants.”

She added: “We are continuing to explore other acquisition opportunities with our primary aim being to ensure that agents can realise their future ambitions and that their customers and staff remain a priority as part of the acquisition.
