Two long-serving estate agents have taken ownership of the Warrington firm where they have spent much of their careers after completing a management buyout.

Yvonne Gosney and Faye Kenyon have acquired New Way Homes in Penketh after working for the independent agency for 13 and 10 years respectively.

The pair take over the business from founder Dave Linaker and his family, who established New Way Homes in 2002. The agency provides residential sales, lettings and mortgage services across the Warrington area.

Gosney told the press: “Faye and I have spent years helping buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants, so becoming the owners of the business is a moment we’re incredibly proud of.

“We’re excited for the future and look forward to building on the strong reputation the business has earned while continuing to provide the personal service our clients know and trust.”

The new owners announced the takeover on social media, thanking Linekar, his family, clients and colleagues for their support throughout the transition.

Their statement said: “It’ll still be the same friendly faces, the same passion, and the same commitment to helping people move – just with our names above the door now.

“And don’t worry – Dave isn’t going too far!

“He’ll still be around to support us, so you’ll still see a familiar face for a little while.”
