Leads service pledges 0% charges to agents if UK goes into total lock-down

Telephone leads company Callwell has announced an immediate 50% reduction in its normal monthly subscription rates.

It has also pledged to allow customers to pay nothing if the UK goes into total shutdown.

Callwell, which ‘makes the phone ring’ when a portals lead arrives in agents’ inboxes, will also be extending its WFH (working from homes) features to all agents across the country on emergency terms.

The new emergency contract will allow agents to pay as they go for three months, without committing to anything further.

Managing director Bob Scarff said that the firm is taking the action in anticipation of falling enquiry levels and while much of the UK works remotely.

Scarff, a former estate agent, said: “In the immediate term our customers want to keep Callwell switched on because customer enquiries are still coming in and they need dealing with.

“Our functions makes it ideal to do this while working from home. On the other hand, having worked through many a cash squeeze in the past 40 years, I know exactly how my customers must be feeling right now.”

Yesterday afternoon, agents were able to attend a webinar which demonstrated Callwell’s features in the context of working from home.
