Knock, knock, who’s there – new app for home hunters

A new app called Knocker has launched, allowing users to “swipe” quickly through property listings and capture those they like the look of.

Similar to dating app Tinder, Knocker locks into users’ locations and lets people skim through properties while they are on the move, or sitting at home or in a local bar.

For example, if you walk past a home for sale that you like the look of, you can launch the app.

Provided it is listed on Zoopla, the details come up immediately.

The app can “pin” the properties” which can be shared, while viewings can be booked directly through the app.

Knocker is powered by listings on Zoopla only, and has been created by two Manchester-based entrepreneurs, Jon Grant and Sam Easterby-Smith.

It is free to download here off iTunes and can be used on smartphones or tablets – and it has attracted some rave reviews.

Many thanks for this story. Have just installed “Knocker” and must say it’s very impressive. It would be even better if it worked with RM & OTM at the same time.  I can see these guys selling out to for big bucks very soon.
