Knight Frank opens 32nd office in London – and it’s south of the river

Knight Frank has opened a new office in London.

It is south of the Thames – which Messrs Knight, Frank and Rutley would undoubtedly have considered the wrong side of the river – at Southbank Place, near Waterloo.

The new office is the 32nd in London for the firm.

Mark Batty has been appointed to lead the lettings team, while Daniel Woods will lead the sales team. The South Bank team will work closely with Knight Frank’s neighbouring Tower Bridge and Battersea offices.

The new branch will give Knight Frank presence in one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe, stretching over 5.25 acres, with over 800 new homes, 48,000 sq ft of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as 530,000 sq ft of office space.

The new office will also house Knight Frank’s national training centre.

Analysis of Knight Frank data shows that the average sales price in South Bank has risen 70% between 2015 and 2019, while the number of transactions has risen 116%, attributable to the new-build activity in the area.

Wait… I thought only 3 people in London sold their house last year, due to tax and brexit.

    Was that fake news?
