Keller Williams relaunches Glasgow market centre after hiatus

Keller Williams is reopening its Glasgow market centre.

It first opened in January 2018, headed by Gary Wardell, as the ‘hub’ for Scotland.

However, the Glasgow market centre subsequently closed, it is understood for serious personal reasons.

It is now being relaunched as KW Evolve, with the operating principal named as Evelyn Foster.

Foster is a director of Smoothmove Scotland, which has agents across Scotland.

She has worked at the Keller Williams Glasgow market centre previously, and has also worked for Express Estate Agency. Before that she was an area manager for Avon Costmetics.

She said: “I have worked with Keller Williams in the past and I love the model which Keller Williams is built on. It is a model that truly focuses on the agent and supports them in training, coaching and production.

“I am delighted to be opening the Evolve market centre in Glasgow and to be able to give the opportunity for agents to create incredible lives for themselves and to transform the customers’ experience for the better.”

Ben Taylor, CEO of Keller Williams UK, said: “The growth of Keller Williams over the past 20 years has been astonishing and now the growth here in the UK is really starting to reflect that too.

“I approached Evelyn because she has all the ingredients needed to run a truly fantastic market centre. She is already very much on point with our Keller Williams culture and will be a massive asset to us, but more importantly to the agents who choose to work alongside her.”

Who pays for the portal listing, initial advertising and set up costs with KW  – is it the centre owner on their own; or do the first joiners have to put their hands in their pockets too?
