Lomond has expanded its presence in Bristol with the acquisition of independent letting agency The Letting Game, adding around 800 managed properties to its portfolio.

The deal marks another acquisition for the agency group as it continues to expand across the UK.

The Letting Game, founded by chairman Jack Head more than 17 years ago, operates across Bristol’s residential lettings and property management market.

Unlike many traditional agencies, the business has grown largely through referrals and repeat customers rather than relying on a high street branch network.

The company is now preparing to open a flagship office in Redland, close to Whiteladies Road.

The acquisition will strengthen Lomond’s position in Bristol and the wider South West, adding an established local lettings operation to its network.

Neil McGimpsey, chief revenue officer at Lomond, said: “The Letting Game has built a stellar reputation in Bristol by combining strong local foundations with a highly customer-focused ethos and an exceptional team.

“These strengths align perfectly with Lomond’s values, and we are delighted to welcome the business to the Group.”

Jack Head, chairman of The Letting Game, said: “We set out to build a Bristol agency for Bristol people, shaped by the city’s independent spirit and focused on great service.

“Nearly 18 years on, those values remain at the heart of the business.”

He added: “Lomond shares our ambitions for the future and gives us the platform to keep growing, whilst staying true to what has made The Letting Game successful to date.”

The deal forms part of Lomond’s ongoing strategy to increase its managed portfolio and expand its regional agency network.

The companies have not disclosed the financial terms of the acquisition.
