Independent launched almost 140 years ago converts to Hunters’ name over the door

Hunters has continued its rapid growth by launching three newly re-branded offices in the Lincolnshire area.

The new branches, which previously traded as Drewery & Wheeldon Estate Agents, are in Bawtry, Gainsborough and Retford. Each has a prime high street location.

Drewery & Wheeldon, established 137 years ago, joined the Hunters network as of yesterday.

David Jackson, owner and managing director, said: “Adopting the Hunters franchise model will greatly enhance our online presence, allow easier access to property information and provide the resources for our terrific team to deliver an even better service than we already do and are known for.

“By working closely with nearby Hunters offices in Lincoln, Scunthorpe and Woodhall Spa, we’ll be able to cover more ground whilst also having åçdirect access to expertise across the country from the 170 branch network.”

Glynis Frew, managing director of Hunters, said: “We are delighted to welcome David and his teams and are pleased to be strengthening our presence in this thriving part of the country.

“This three branch cluster is an excellent addition to our already flourishing network. We look forward to working with them.”
