Bellway has unveiled a new look to coincide with its 80th anniversary.

Its refreshed branding is already being used across digital channels and will begin appearing on developments this month, including DH1 in Durham, Monument Meadows in Pelton, Hartford Edge in Cramlington and Baydale Village in Darlington.

Bellway said the project was led by the marketing team at its group headquarters near Newcastle Airport and followed research with customers.

Nicola Hughes, marketing director at Bellway, said: “This refreshed brand marks an important milestone in our evolution and ambitions for the future.

“Everything we’ve done in evolving the Bellway brand starts with our customers. We want to make the journey simpler, more intuitive and more enjoyable at every stage – from the first online search to the moment they step through the door of their new home.”

Chief executive Jason Honeyman said the housebuilding industry had “changed beyond recognition” during the company’s 80 years.

He highlighted Bellway’s work exploring low-carbon technologies at Energy House 2.0 at the University of Salford, its Future Hub training facility near Bolton and the opening of its Home Space timber frame factory in Sutton in Ashfield.

Honeyman said: “We are proud that Bellway has remained true to its family-focused values, building connected communities while evolving our home designs to ensure our developments leave a positive legacy for people and the planet.”
