The Guild of Professional Estate Agents has joined the International Ethics Standard Coalition, an organisation that aims to improve ethical standards in the property industry.
All members must adhere to ten key principles

- Transparency
- Trust
- Verification
Marcus Whewell, CEO of the Guild, pictured, said: “In an industry that is relatively unregulated, it’s so important that we go the extra mile to ensure we run our businesses ethically.
“By joining the IES Coalition, the Guild has taken a significant step to drive conversations around ethics in the property profession.”

Lets stop messing about and bring in licencing. My experience of their members is similar to the comment above
I have personal experience of two of their members….. I wouldn’t put them out if on fire, from the list I have some difficulty finding ONE they haven’t breached at some time of another.
I think it’s a few more members than 60….? 600 I think.
